I arrived today to Lebanon from the long trip that I had starting from Egypt, moving to Athens, then to TechEd in Barcelona, back to Athens, and finally to Lebanon!!!

I will be back to posting and my normal work just 2 days break to take my breath!!

I had a great presentation as the jury said, but I was the second ... Which means, I didn't make it to the finals. Hopefully next year, I will make it!! As a first experience, it was OK.

I had great meetings today and yesterday with great colleagues and friends that I only met through the Internet and emails!!

Yesterday I had the honor to meet Matt Gibbs, Fredik Normen, and Fritz Onion. It is so nice when you meet people you have been in contact with them for years and never met them before!!

 

Things are going fine at the TechEd. The lectures are interesting and there are lots to come in the last two days!!

This is my fist day in the first TechEd in my life :). I am working as a HOL and ATE. Just attending the first lecture for me on Visual Studio 2008 and ASP.NET 3.5.

I will be staying in the conference area most of the days, so if you want to meet with me and talk, then you should catch me in!!

I have arrived to Athens last Tuesday after having attended the MVP Regional Summit for MEA in Egypt and staying for the next 12 days.

What a lovely city to be in!! This is my third trip to Athens and yesterday I took a small walk under the tiny rain, watching the houses, how nice they are, how organized, how clean the streets are, .....

 

A lovely place to live in ...

Today, October 22nd, I become 27 years old!!

I feel now life has passed so quickly and years were moving one after one ... You feel happy and at the same time feel sad .... after all this is life!!

I am writing to you from Marriot Hotel in Cairo where I am attending the MEA MVP Regional Summit.

This is my first visit to Egypt and I found it to be a lovely and nice place to live in!! The summit is going great, several sessions were delivered informing us on many of the new technologies up there!!
