Telerik MVP!

My name is Vassil Petev, Client Service Director at Telerik. After careful review of all MVP applications, I am happy to be the first to congratulate you on becoming a  Telerik MVP !

Dear all,

What you have read above is an excerpt of an email I received by the Client Service Director at Telerik ( www.telerik.com). I have been awarded the Most Valuable Professional (Telerik MVP) Award on the Telerik Products.

This award came out of my contribution with articles and posts on the Telerik third-party controls which proved to be one of the best third-party controls world-wide on the .NET framework!

To check my online profile on Telerik, please visit this link: http://www.telerik.com/community/mvp-program/default.aspx

Thank you Telerik for everything!!!

Best Regards,
Bilal Haidar [MVP]

# re: Telerik MVP!

telerik controls are full of bugs and useless/worthless controls i have ever seen and there is no doubt that their skins and css looks pretty but when it comes to implementation those controls they can not handle. online demo is for beginners dude.

but overall, my experience with telerik is very very bad.

I have to disagree with you on that issue.

Apart from bugs that you refer to (and that will be corrected in the next service pack) the Telerik suite of controls is something I from now on do not want to be without.

If you look at it on an overall perspective, the functionality and as you comment on the skins and css - truly gives you a ‘Deliver more than expected’ feeling.

I delivered a small app using the WinForms controls and the customer said the functionality including the look and feel is light-years away from what they are used to.

So for the Telerik folks; keep up the good work – just do more of it and more developers will be able to keep up with those ‘funky’ requirements.
